Some people think that high-income earners aren't eligible for a Roth IRA. Not true. Since the income cap for conversions was removed in 2010, anyone can now convert a traditional IRA to a Roth! Here are four other misconceptions about Roth IRA conversions:

Myth 1: Once you convert, you can't go back You may have heard the term Zero-Liability, but what does it truly mean? When you shop using your Orange County’s Credit Union Debit MasterCard, you have peace of mind because you’re protected against unauthorized charges as long as:

1. You’ve used reasonable care in protecting your card from loss or theft; and
2. You’ve promptly notified us when you knew that your MasterCard was lost or stolen.

You can notify us of unauthorized purchases by phone, in person, or by sending us a secure web message through our site. Zero-Liability applies to your purchases made in the store, over the phone, online, or via mobile. If you believe there’s been unauthorized use on your account, please let us know right away.
